Gingerspice and Chocolate Ganache Macarons

Mid-week hump day, roomie and I decided to bake macarons instead of studying. This recipe is adapted fromĀ Tartelette— my little sister the baker says this is the best resource for fancy baking there is, so I believe her. The macarons are dusted with crumbled ginger”cat” cookies, and the chocolate ganache filling is spiked with (ginger)SNAP spirits fromĀ Art in the Age. They have a nice kick from the spices in the shells, and unctuousness from the rich chocolate and ginger liqueur!
